Ms Evelyn Kuo
Manager of Investment Division, Taiwan Sotheby’s International Realty
   University of Western Sydney Alumna
   Taipei Based

My name is Evelyn. I graduated from University of Western Sydney in 2000 and went to the United States to pursue my Master’s degree and subsequently gain work experience. In 2005, I returned to Taiwan to work in Citibank in their corporate banking division. In 2009, I began my career in commercial real estate, offering office leasing.

In 2014, Taiwan Sotheby’s offered me a great opportunity . I started to be in charge of Investment Division. I built the team which primarily servicing large corporate and the business covers commercial office buildings, retail stores, shopping malls, industrial real estate and land leasing and sales, and international commercial real estate investment. This was a new business segment for the company .

It is strange how life takes turns to test your strength of character determination.  From academic qualifications, which are quite distinct to what I do now, and my rather uncertain and precarious situation post 2009 crisis, I have indeed endeavored to what I have achieved today. I believe that’s part from the impact of the life experience and education in Australia.
