University of New South Wales Alumnus
    Hangzhou Based

I am the co-founder and currently the Vice President of Hangzhou Microquanta Semiconductor Co.,Ltd. a startup company that specializes and leads in perovskite solar cells commercialization. Together with another finalist and my good friend, Dr. Jizhong Yao, we make Microquanta globally recognized in photovoltaics community as the efficiency record holder of perovskite technique.

My link with Australia started in 2008 when I was sponsored by funds from Asian-Pacific Partnership on Clean Development and Climate and entered into University of New South Wales to continue my undergraduate study. My Aussie life started from the beautiful Coogee beach and my career in photovoltaic industry started from School of Photovoltaics and Renewable Energy, UNSW. I came to know a lot of friends, teachers and mentors who are still core strength in today’s PV industry. Most importantly, my roommate in that period, Jizhong, and I strongly believe in the future of PV and we dream ambitiously to develop our own technology one day like our UNSW seniors. After two years of study, I graduated in 2010 with first honor degree and dual-degree from both UNSW and Zhejiang University. In the summer of 2015, Jizhong and I founded Microquanta. We hope it will help us to realize our dream, one that was initialized in Australia a decade ago.
